一、仪器主要功能
1．检验油品锥入度（cone penetration of greae）：主要检测机油、润滑油品，在规定质量、时间和温度条件下，标准钻体沉入试样的深度，以此辨别油品是否达到规定质量标准。
2．检验油品冷滤点（cold filter plugging point）：主要检测油品在规定的时间和温度下不能通过过滤器时的最高温度。
3．检验油品含水量（water content）：主要检测汽油、些油、机油、液压油等油品的含水份的程度。
4．检验油品闪点(flash point)：主要检测汽油、柴油等油品通过加热所逸出的蒸气和空气组成的混合物与火焰接触发生瞬间闪火时的最低温度。
