A. Insert battery

1) open the rear cover for the battery.
打开电池的后盖。
2) Insert a lithium battery CR123A with the positive (+) polarity.
按照正极方向插入CR123A锂电池。
3) close the rear cover.
盖上电池后盖。
B. Attach bracket
配置托架
1) Slide the compass into the mounting bracket until it clicks securely into place (there is only
one suitable way to install.).
把指南针安装在支撑的托架上（只有一种适合的安装方式）
2) Adjust the unit on the bracket to the best viewing angle.
在托架上调整到最佳视觉角度。
a) Hold the unit facing down, grasp the bracket handle, and pull it to the right to separate
the locking teeth.b
使指南针朝下，握紧托架的手柄，然后向右扭转，使其断开锯齿。
b) Move bracket to the desired position and release the handle, let the compass re-engage
the teeth.
把托架移到合适的位置，然后放开手柄让指南针啮合在它上面。
c) Adjust the compass according to the altitude. For maximum accuracy, the unit had better
not be lower than 20o from its horizontal position.
根据海拔的高度适当调整。为了达到最准确的精度，指南针最好不要低于水平线20ob
C. Secure to windshield
寻求挡风装置
1) Find a spot on your windshield that allows easy viewing of both the product and the road, and
clear well.
找到合适的支点方位，使其能自由操作该装置，达到最佳的视觉效果。
- For maximum accuracy, be sure the unit is at least 5 inches away from sources of
magnetic interference such as audio speakers, radios, etc.
- 为达到最高的精度，应确保该装置远离磁场干扰在5英寸范围内，比如扬声器，收
音机等等。
2) Press the cupular firmly against the interference of wind.
按紧吸盘以免受到风力的影响。
SETTING UP THE COMPASS
设置指南针
The compass must be setup in order to provide accurate readings. Always calibrate the compass
AFTER the product Unit has been mounted on your windshield.
指南针需要设置以达到最精确的度数，所以当安装好该装置时通常需要对该装置进行校准。
1) Choose an area where you can swerve your vehicle freely (such as an empty parking lot).
首先要选择一个最好可以自由转弯的地方（比如空荡的停车厂等地）
2) Press the SETUP button. The screen will show “CAL”, and the arrow of compass will
flashing.
按下SETUP按钮3秒以上，屏幕就会显示“CAL”，并且指针闪动。
3) When the arrow is flashing, and you need to“TURN CAR IN FULL CIRCLE.”
当指针闪烁时，需要将车“旋转一周”。
4) Drive your vehicle in one complete circle (any direction). Once you’ve begun the maneuver,
press the SETUP button, the screen will display “0 “ in the compass area, and it will enter the
compass adjustment for the magnetic declination.
将车旋转一周后（可任意选择方向），一旦你执行该操作时，按下SETUP按钮，屏幕就
会在COMPASS处显示“0”，即进入磁偏角调整状态。
5) The range of magnetic declination is from -90°(west) to +90°(east), and press the “on”
and “off” button to increase and reduce separately.
磁偏角的调整范围是-90°（西）—— +90°（东），按“ON”和“OFF”键分别进行
加和减来调整。
6) When the adjustment of magnetic declination is finish, press the “SETUP” button to enter the
state of voltage setting, and the range of setting is “A1——A8”, press “ON” and “ OFF” button to
increase and reduce separately.
调整完磁偏角后，按“SETUP”键进入电压设置状态，其设置范围是“A1—A8”，按“ON”
和“OFF”键进行加和减来设置。
7) Press the “SETUP” button again to enter the state of compress work period setting, and the
range of setting is 1——120s (normally for 2s), press “ON” and “ OFF” button to increase and
reduce separately.
再按“SETUP”键进入指南针工作时间调整状态，其调整范围是 1—120分钟(上电默认为
2分钟)，按“ON”和“OFF”键进行加和减来调整。
8) When all the above operations are finished, the compass setting is completed. Changing your
bracket angle, the mounting location or the battery will require you to calibrate the compass again.
当上述操作完成后，指南针设置即完成。当改变了托架的角度之后，随着方向定位的改变
就需要重新校准电子指南针。
9）Press the “SETUP” button on conditions that adjusting time, the hour lighting firstly, press
“ON” and “ OFF” button to increase and reduce separately, and press the “SETUP” button to
adjust minute, second and 12/24 hours mode.
时间状态下轻按“SETUP”键设置时间，首先小时闪烁，此时按“ON”和“OFF”键进
行加和减来调整小时，依次按“SETUP”键调整分钟、秒钟、12/24小时制。
NOTE: For maximum accuracy, all compasses should be reseted every 3 months due to ongoing
changes in magnetic fields.
注意：因为磁场的不断变化，为达到最高的精度，所有的电子指南针都需要每3月重新设置
