Detailed Deion
Microscope Stand:
It is positioned inside the cell and incorporates the examination-techniques-triplemodule and the motorized sextuple nosepiece. Objectives can be chosen from 1x to 150x. Optical elements and the transport optic are made of radiation resistant glass.
Examination Techniques:
Brightfield, oblique illumination, polarized light with +/- 90?rotatable polarizer and analyser as well as NORMARSKI differential interference contrast (DIC) can be selected at the touch of a key.
Scanning stage:
Stepping motors drive the 40 x 40 mm x-y coordinate and focus-movement. The position is indicated in 1祄 steps either on the monitor of the Materials Workstation or on the display of the control unit. The speed is controlled by a trackball or joystick. Stage rotation is 200? driven by a servo system, with digital position indication in 0.1?steps.
Superstage:
This unique motorized stage insert with 360?rotation enables the examination of a specimen area with maximum diameter of 60 mm in form of concentric rings. It is operated by a control knob and the position is indicated on a digital display in 0.5?steps.
Viewing and Camera Stand:
Positioned outside the cell, this ergonomically designed unit contains the inclined binocular viewing tube with a pair of widefield eyepieces WP 10x, the field inserts with graticules, the beam splitter prism for viewing tube/camera 20%/80% and 100%/0% positions. The stand comprises also the 35 mm camera and the large format camera 4" x 5" with change over device, photo format projection system, ground glass screen with Fresnel lens in frame and motorized magnichanger (0.8x-1x-1.25x-2.5x).
Space Requirements:
Inside the cell or a-box: minimum 600 x 600 x 600 mm. Desk space outside the cell: 1000 x 2000 mm.
Maximum wall thickness: 250 mm (without a-box 300 mm)
